KING OSWALD and BUMBLEKITE at 18's and 50's respectively.
LOOK ALIVE - Had a wind op since last start and also has the tongue tie applied. Remains lightly raced and has more ability than 25's suggests. Also going with ASK HENRY, as 40's looks big to me.
MISS POLLYANNA - 10 Race maiden, but enters calculations on a couple of pieces of form and not convinced this is a strong race, so does have EW appeal at 40's.
6.00 Chelmsford - PARA MIO - Lightly raced recently and last 2 runs give him a decent chance at 14's.
7.00 Chelmsford - GO ON MY COCKER - Nicely bred debutante who was unraced for the Stoute yard. Makes a belated debut today, but could not rule out at 25's.
SHEZA ROCKSTAR - Edging down the weights and this is her easiest handicap assignment in a while. Fair track record and looks a touch big to me at 14's.
PARTY FUZZ - Green on debut 2nd and should improve today at 12's.
4.10 Wolverhampton - WANAASAH - Other than on Fibresand, generally consistent and worth a crack at 2m. Interesting getting weight all round at 11's.
5.20 Southwell - SUR MER - Bred for the fibresand and looks an interesting newcomer at 16's.
TOUSHAN - Comeback run was poor, but was off the back of a long layoff. 10lb lower now back over hurdles and could be a dark horse at 50's. NICOLE'S MILAN, the more sensible one at 7's.
Plenty of controversy around WANAASAH's victory as she was the one who quickly established a huge lead and who was still 15 lengths up entering the final circuit. She still enjoyed an 8 length lead at the furlong marker and won unchallenged. The stewards accepted all the other ( amateur ) jockeys explanations, but the BHA are rightly investigating further.
DANCE CLASS - Narrowed this one down to a pair of newcomers, as not keen at the prices on those with form. Small saver on DAPHNE DU MAURIER at 25's, but she is probably one for the future, but do like DC at 33's, despite looking the stable 2nd string.
1.25 Vaal - DOUBLE O EIGHT - Has a decent pull with the FAV on their last running and as a filly, is getting weight all round. Shade big for me at 25's.
2.40 Vaal - MISS LEXI - Remains a notebook horse, though maybe not for long if coming up short today. Not beaten that far last time and generously dropped in the ratings for that effort. Really should be thereabouts at 14's.
2.45 Rasen - MISSTREE SONG - Tough looking bumper and does have a bit to find with Hollymount Holly, but still some EW appeal at the price of 33's.
SOUTH EAST at 12's
MERCY MISSION at 25's
SWEET CANDY WOMAN at 33's
ZIG ZAG and IDEAL WOLFF - Pair of outsiders up against the hot favourite at 25's and 50's respectively.
ANFAASS - On a career low mark and been backed from 14's into 10's. Low draw is a negative.
5.30 Dundalk - SEVENLEFT - Still capable of the odd decent effort at 50's.
5.45 Newcastle - COCK A HOOP - Made late headway on debut and should improve for that run at 25's.
7.30 Dundalk - ABBY'S MAGIC - Tongue tie added for today's 2nd start and ought to show a bit more at 40's.
AMBERGLO STAR - Quick reappearance for this one and do feel both efforts to date have been decent. EW shout at 28's.
11.00 Kenilworth - FORT MCHENRY - Stable 2nd string, but nicely bred and the stable can get one ready at 33's.
11.20 Turffontein - CAPELLA MAGNA - Nicely bred, possible improver at 33's.
1.10 Turffontein - ROCKSTAR CHILD - Non stayer last time, so should go better back at a suitable trip. Minor drop in class as well, so should be thereabouts at 16's.
2.35 Kenilworth - SELAILAI - Poor overall strike rate, but comes here in decent form and last time out from a bad draw was a particularly worthy effort. Not a great deal to find at 16's.
SEAFORTH - Best draw in a while, is a recent c & d winner and last time was over too short, so every chance of getting involved.
2.35 Wolverhampton - LITTLE MISS LILLY - Poor overall strike rate, but 2 comeback runs both decent and should be cherry ripe today at 12's.
3.50 Thurles - COOLDINE BOG - Has won after a similar break and chase form has matched the best of his hurdle form, so cannot rule out at 16's.
4.20 Thurles - TWILIGHT GIRL - Started his career under rules in a couple of maiden hurdles ( probably better than the bare form suggests in the first of those ) and now switched to a Bumper. Did win her Point nicely and the trainer does well in this sphere, so a much improved run at 80's would not surprise.
12.30 Scottsville - BARINOIS - Goes well for this apprentice and has taken a handy drop in the weights, so not sure why 16's is on offer.
1.05 Scottsville - LOADSHEDDER - Needed comeback run, drop in trip should suit and has form on the Poly. Poor strike rate overall, but is down to a winning mark and should be able to lay up close enough to the pace at 25's
1.40 Scottsville - LINEAR - Won here recently, so won't mind the change in venue and better than the bare form suggests last time. Fair EW shout at 12's
2.50 Scottsville - MOUILLE POINT - Possible improver at 40's.
CHARTER JET - Makes his debut today for this local trainer and has a fair record at this sort of level. Could have arrived in better form, but still some EW appeal at 40's.
2.05 Flamingo Park - KEANAN'S ROCK - Drops in class for stable debut at 10's.
2.40 Flamingo Park - OLIVIA S - Pretty consistent up to last time out and this is her easiest handicap assignment in a while at 12's.
CLIFTON COUGAR - Weak looking race and CC has scope to improve at 25's.
SCOOP - Down to a nice looking mark and does have speed at 40's.
1.20 Vaal - ROUGE ALLURE - The one that can't win at the weights is also 33's, so RA is certainly over - priced. Has a fair record at this sort of level and the price looks to reflect the fact that he has not won in a while.
1.55 Vaal - GENTLEMAN ONLY - Inconsistent lately, but not beaten far 2 runs ago in what was a stronger handicap and certainly very nicely weighted at 33's.
ROCKY PATH at 10's and LAINSBURG BLUE at 66's.
LAMANVER STORM - Better on 2nd start and can improve again at 14's.
