Right guys, what do we like for the big festival next month?

I will kick off with....

My Drogo

Each Way @ 20-1 [Bet 365]...16-1 NRNB

In the supreme novices hurdle [Tuesday]

Unbeaten in both hurdle runs this season at class tracks despite still not looking the finished article. Trainer Dan Skelton is in great form, bet he wishes Cheltenham started next week!

Not had a bet yet but Royal Pagaille, trained by Venetia Williams, is high on my list.

Entered in three races at the moment, including the Gold Cup (8/1)

So impressive lto, wasn't whipped once, yet won with ease. Will be up against better sorts at Cheltenham but this one is only improving and is owned by Rich Ricci's mrs.

Topdogs selection My Drogo is a non runner in the Supremes novice, but hes trainer N.Skelton has two other runners , Third Time Lucki 33s and Cadzand 40s ,they might have been ew picks, but with such a hot favourite we might just be playing for two places.

What was Gordon Elliot thinking? Surely they can't have him at Cheltenham?

Awful image, and he needs to grow up

But doubt it will cost his career

That was a shocking explanation , dug himself into a bigger hole to fall in.When he shows up in public im sure there is going to be a few unsavoury remarks that are going to be thrown hes way.

He had 4 winners at Punchestown this afternoon

No doubting he knows what he is doing training wise, but as a human has never come across as likeable in my eyes, and been rumours for a long time that he is more than fond of a drink and chasing young skirt

Gordon Elliott will not be permitted to have runners in Britain until the conclusion of an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board investigation into an image on social media that showed the Grand National-winning trainer sitting on a dead horse on his gallops.

Racing authorities in Britain and Ireland have condemned the image, which Elliott confirmed in a statement on Sunday evening was genuine, apologising “profoundly for any offence that this photo has caused”, while seeking to explain what he said was the context of events that led to the photograph.

The IHRB has already launched a full investigation – and while Elliott is licensed in Ireland, the British Horseracing Authority said it was “appalled” by the image and was “considering its own regulatory options”, but has now acted.

Mmmm so far so good but we all know what the BHA are like. It would surely surprise nobody if they created some kind of fudge to enable his horses to run at the festival.

I assume they are hoping that the Irish authorities make the job a bit easier.
