11.40 Fairview - MURIEL - Would have needed his debut run in the region and will strip fitter today. First 2 career runs suggested the ability s there and remains lightly raced. Decent draw today in 5 and just fell this might be the one in the field that can take a big step forward. Risky at 33's, but happy at that price.

5.05 Newbury - SOLAR GOLD and YURSA - Going with this pair at 10's and 12's respectively in this field of unraced sorts.
6.15 Bath - BAILEY'S EXCEL - Failed to kick on from promise on 2yo debut, but has shown decent speed and the drop back to 5f looks a potential plus. Possible improver at 28's.
6.45 Bath - GLAMOROUS ROCKET - Enough promise last year to suggest she has a future, but probable she gets outclassed here. Hoping the 8 runners hold as 3rd not impossible this field.
7.55 Southwell - CARROLL'S MILAN - Form of the 2nd in her latest Irish Point reads well and should be able to make an impact under rules. FAV looks potentially useful, but happy opposing with this one at 10's.

4.15 Greyville - AMBERBELL - WATCHMEGO looks the sensible on at 4's, but the pick interests me more at a price. Not much to date, but is nicely bred and ought to be capable of better. Small stable had a winner earlier in the week, top jockey booked and definite " dark horse " potential at 50's.
5.25 Greyville - ASTROMAN - HONEST PRINCE could go close at 7's, but marginal preference is for this one. Has proved to be a decent polytrack sort and will come for his last run at 12's.
6.00 Greyville - YOUNG GUN and VIRTUOUS - YG has been a steady improver to date, but may need a bit of luck from his draw at 10's. Virtuous took a big step forward last time and looks to be getting the hang of things at 14's

10.45 Sha - Tin - TURIN REDSTAR - Fair c & d effort last time and form of previous win pretty solid. Draw could of been kinder in 13, but still some EW appeal at 14's
11.00 Turffontein - TI GAR - Not the worst of efforts last time and whilst plenty to find with the principles, it is an 8 runner race and for me is the best of the " rags " at 100's

12.05 Turffontein - BOSPHORUS - Back off a break, but form solid and Pierre Strydom booked. Bit surprised to the 14's on offer.
12.40 Turffontein - OCEANS PRIDE - Hinted at better to come in starts 2 and 3 and whilst needs to improve, could easily do so at 50's.
2.25 Turffontein - FOLK DANCE - One of a pair of 3yo's in the race and has produced respectable efforts despite racing wide in her two comeback runs. Has plenty on at the weights but she is probably better than rated and could go well from a decent draw at 12's.
4.30 Turffontein - SPANISH TUNE - In good form prior to his long break and based on such form, should be nearer a 5 or 6/1 shot. Risky, as fitness taken on trust, but just could not resist at 14's.
4.55 Newbury - SAINT MAC - Stable 2nd string, but nicely bred and related to enough winners to be of interest at 50's.
5.20 Limerick - ALMONTASER - Disappointing to date and back off a break today, but should appreciate the slog and a big run at 66's would not surprise.
5.35 Bangor - GO AS YOU PLEASE - Nicely bred newcomer and the stable still capable in this sphere. Interesting runner to me at 12's.
5.55 Thirsk - STAR CRACKER - Comes here fit from the AW and generally capable this level at 20's.

8.30 Wolverhampton - ROMAN SAINTS - Looks a real tough race for the grade and potentially up against some fair sorts. RS did show enough on debut to suggest he has a future and whilst available at 200's, would rather play at 150's with the 4 places.

9.00 Wolverhampton - MELANNA - 3 time winner over in Ireland, but not tasted success since September of 2016. Back off a break today, but sliding down the weights and makes his debut for a new trainer tonight so a big performance at 28's is feasible.

Going with this pair of once raced sorts, who are both quite nicely bred and who are both immediately upped in trip. 33's and 40's respectively, but just the 10 runners, with 3 of them looking even more unlikely.
