Tuesday 20th -

11.15 Vaal - QUEEN OF WAR - Much improved on 2nd start and can improve again at 16's.

12.25 Vaal - CANTATA MUNDI - Merit rating of 55, so would normally struggle in Maiden company. Nothing rated in the high 60's upwards though, so nothing to fear from those. 3 lighter raced ones all look interesting, but 2 of them are short, so happy taking a risk on CM at 50's.

1.00 Vaal - GENTLEMAN ONLY - Showed signs of a revival recently and the gradual decrease of his merit rating would certainly bring him into the picture in a moderate looking contest. Six c & d efforts have resulted in a win and 2 places, so definite EW shout at 18's.

1.35 Vaal - CRANBERRY CRUSH and GOLDUST WOMEN - CC is a capable sort and is the trainer's only runner of the day at 10's. GW runs the odd good race and is certainly nicely weighted. Good 9lb claimer takes the ride and not the biggest surprise if she gets involved at 33's.

2.10 Vaal - RIVER RUN - Poor effort last time, but has some fair form at this level and top young jockey takes over the ride. EW shout at 22's

2.20 Clonmel - PEDRO - Not a lot in Points, but ought to be capable of something better and small EW at 66's.

3.25 Clonmel - WINSOR VIXEN - Winless, but capable handicapper and must have a chance at 12's, in a race that looks quite weak.

5.00 Clonmel - HANOVER SPIRIT - Top 2 versus the rest in this six runner contest and for me HS is the most likely of the " rags " at 33's.

8.10 Wolverhampton - ZADORRA - Only hinted at ability to date, but be surprised if there is not more to come at 16's.
 
2.45 Vaal - SAVETHEBESTFORLAST and BRIGHT BRONTE - BRAXTON the " sensible " one at 4's and would take it a s part of a FC / TC. The former is better than his last 2 runs suggest and is down to a very nice looking mark. Has the plum draw to work from and strong EW chance at 14's, getting weight all round. BB is another that has produced better in the past, but looking almost solely at the jockey booking ( top rider Muzi Yeni ) and the price of 33's.
 
3.20 Vaal - SABRE DANCE and BUBBLY REPLY - Again got a sensible one in WOTTAHOTTIE at 5's and as above would be happy with it as part of FC / TC. Sabre Dance gets in as a reserve, represents a strong trainer / jockey combination and holds a leading chance on 5 of his last 6 runs. Not giving much away at 10's, but this does look fair. BR is more speculative at 40's and his last four runs off this sort of mark have seen just the one decent effort. Best young jockey ( IMO ) in the country aboard and capable of staying on nicely at the finish

Win for RIVER RUN at 25's, 2nd for CANTATA MUNDI at 50's and 3rd for GOLDUST WOMAN at 33's
 
Wednesday 21st -

10.00 Greyville - ECCELLERATE - Shantytown looks fair at 6's, but do like this one s shade more at 14's
 
10.30 Greyville - TOUGH GIRL - Looks like the live action on ATTHERACES begins with this contest and TG looks interesting at 10's. Similar price on debut and only hinted at ability, so presumably has shown a bit more at home and certainly bred to be capable of better
 
10.45 Happy Valley - TRENDIFUL - Last win was 2 years ago and could have been drawn better today, but comes here in fair form and has won over c & d. EW chance at 12's.
 
12.20 Greyville - PAMPAS and OLIGARCH - Both seem to have had plenty of issues ( Pampas with injuries and Oligarch with consistency ) but both are capable sorts and could not rule out either at 16's.

12.45 Happy Valley - KING BOUNTIFUL - 5 time winner, who tends to need pace to aim at this trip. That is not absolutely guaranteed, but do think he will get enough of a tow to get involved at 25's

12.55 Greyville - DALE HOUSE and FRANCO - DH is back off a break, but has gone well in these circumstances before and was certainly in good form prior to the rest. Looks a decent shout at 10's. FRANCO needs a return to form, but is capable on a going day and has a nice draw to work with at 20's.

2.05 Greyville - HOMETOWN HERO - Never really showed last time, but not beaten that far and should be able to lie handy in this field. Needs to show a bit more today, but still an EW chance at 14's.

2.40 Greyville - DANCING WITH TATUM and ROY'S BARBEL - Taking a punt with both of these at 25's as just feel they are both capable of much better than they have shown to date.

2.50 Happy Valley - CHATER LEGEND - Bit more like it last time and Neil Callan an interesting booking at 25's.

Money for her into 7's and won nicely from the front.
 
1.40 Doncaster - ROCCO - Looks like he will be winning races under rules, though does need to improve if that is today. 25's is a fair price to do so however.

1.55 Punchestwon - CITING - Much improved 2nd start under rules and whilst may need further, happy to risk this one at 50's.

4.30 Doncaster - SAMMYLOU - 4th Last time in what might turn out to be a decent Bumper and whilst will need more today, could easily eke out a bit more at 20's

4.45 Punchestown - SORT IT OUT - Call the Taxie is much shorter than expected at 6's, but adding it win and FC. SIO has plenty to prove after a bit of a failed chase career, but is a course winner and Barry Geraghty booked at 33's.

6.45 Kempton - MULTIGIFTED - Better than the bare form suggests last time out over hurdles and returns to the flat having had a wind operation. Has won at the track, though will need a stiff gallop to aim at this trip. Not one that initially caught the eye, but simply could not ignore at a very generous 40's.
 
Halo Moon @ 12/1. Doncaster 3.20. Decent run last time out , should make the places.

My Target @33/1. Two third places in a row , small EW saying he can go better. Newcastle 3.10.
 
Frustrating result in Punchestown's 4.45, with CALL THE TAXIE 2nd ( well backed ) and SORT IT OUT dead heating for 3rd at 40's ( nearest finish )
 
Well , Halo Moon managed 2nd and drifted out to 20/1.

Diva du Maquis , drops back down to 2 mile , hopefully better for it , currently 11/1. Hunt 2.20.
 
3.35 Thurles - ROBIN THE HARE - Bred to be capable of better at 18's.

4.55 Southwell - MULTIELLE - Not the most consistent, but capable this level at 16's.

5.20 Thurles - LILY OF LEYSBOURNE -
Taking a complete punt with this one at 50's

8.30 Chelmsford - DUBAI LANDMARK - Has hinted at ability and opening mark looks fair at 16's
 
1.30 Fairview - SILVER GOBLET and PIERA - Gitango Tonight also looks over - priced at the early 7's, but shocked to see this pair available at 20's. Admittedly, both could be better drawn, but both have a decent chance at the weights.
 
2nd SA meeting of the day is on the Poly at Greyville and gone with a few at prices -

3.40 - KIRAV'S TUNE - Best run of 3 to date was last time and can improve again at 20's.

4.15 - MONSIEUR BLANCO - Bred to go on the poly and looks an interesting newcomer at 33's.

4.50 - BLUEMOONRISING and NET WORK JET - BMR ( 16's ) is a genuine if limited sort and for me is worth a crack at the mile. NWJ has only hinted at ability, but the stable is going well and top young jockey booked at 66's.

5.25 - Q TIBB - Does need a solid pace this trip, but every chance he gets it at 12's.

6.35 - MASTER SAM - Out of the places last twice, which suggests his revised mark is beyond him. Not beaten that far in either attempt however, so do feel there is more to come at 10's.
 
7.05 Greyville - PROSECCO - Twice as Smart, looks the sensible one at 5's, but Prosecco, is lightly raced and has more scope than most at 20's.
 
7.15 Wolverhampton - FAST TRACK - First time over this far and a bit hit and miss, but tends to save his best for here and decent EW chance at 12's. Return to the course, may also help SIEGE OF BOSTON at 25's

8.00 Dundalk - MOOREPARK LAD - Opening mark looks fair and hoping for improvement at 28's.

8.35 Dundalk - GALUMINOUS - Felt this one should have finished closer last time and long felt this one was capable of better. Hopefully will show more today at 25's.

Also backing BEATBYBEATBYBEAT in the 7.45, though at the moment is a top price of 9's.
