RBB took it up early and won quite cosily. ALMABABY ran better that the odds suggest and whilst about 8th, not actually beaten far. As it turned out I only needed the rag to finish fourth as I had a silly 50p bet on the First Four pool bet. As you can see I went with 10,4,5,9 straight and it ended up 10,4,5 and 1. Solely a bit of fun at the time, but fair to say ended up a bit frustrating. Bet 365 ended up paying a dividend of just over 2.4K, with an 8/1 shot finishing 4th. Thinking ALMABABY would have boosted it to well over £20,000. Dabbled with the bet in the past and will probably continue with it, as I would only need one to hit.

11.30 Turffontein - THE IRISHMAN - Non qualifier for the thread, but should go close.

12.05 Turffontein - BURSA and DIAMONDS N RUBIES - Pair of lively outsiders at 33's and 50's respectively.

12.40 Turffontein - CASHMEOUSSIDE - Should improve on debut 9th and represents a top yard at 16's.

1.50 Turffontein - DIVA FAUSTINA - Capable on a going day and down to a very handy looking mark at 25's.

3.35 Turffontein - TWELVE OAKS - Backed into FAV when disappointing last time, but definitely has ability and weighted to go well at 14's.
 
1.35 Gowran Park - TITANIUM SKY - Dermot Weld 2nd string, but looks a nicely bred newcomer at 33's.
 
4.05 Newbury - ELIGIBLE - Nicely bred newcomer who represents a decent stable at 12's.

5.00 Newmarket - PRINCESS HARLEY - Useful performer and not sure she should be 10's in this small field.

6.15 Wolverhampton - KG PASSION - NOT SO SHY looks a sensible one at 5's, but KGP has also shown ability in flashes. Blinkers now tried and do believe there is something there at 25's.

12.30 Greyville - Going with 3 in the Maiden -

BELAZARA at 10's
RETRIAL at 11's
CONVENTION at 14's
 
1.40 Greyville - BRIDAL VEIL - Disappointing FAV last time, but switches back to turf on a decent looking mark at 11's.

2.15 Greyville - TWISTER VORTEX - Arrives here in fair form and has gone well on the ground in the past. Looks dangerous off a low weight and does represent a top stable at 10's.

3.25 Greyville - RIPTIDE - Comes here out of the maidens and has been running pretty well. Initial mark looks fine and for me, should go well at 10's.

4.00 Greyville - SHEZAROCKSTAR - Back off a break last time and actually went pretty well. Will certainly benefit from that run and the h'capper gives here a real chance at 14's.

12.15 Durbanville - HEY BOY - FAV is 3's on, so had to have a quick look and HB whilst well beaten to date, has at least been behind a few future winners. Not sure the race has any real strength in depth, so happy going with this one at 16's.

1.25 Durbanville - CHESTNUT LEGACY - Stable 2nd string ( to the FAV ) but does look a nicely bred newcomer at 33's

HB a late scratch and the FAV went off at 1/9 ( won )
CL ran OK on debut, with the afore mentioned stablemate winning quite nicely

4.00 Turffontein - BLING BALL - Does possess speed, has the blinkers added and has quickly fallen to a very nice looking mark. Decent draw to work with and a big run at 40's would not surprise.
 
4.35 Greyville - PILOT ROUTE - Nicely bred newcomer at 25's and not sure there is too much strength in depth in the race.

6.25 Greyville - DALE HOUSE - Has his limitations, but runs the polytrack well and does have a good draw in 2. Weighted to go nicely at 20's.

7.00 Greyville - HYAKU - Coming down the weights nicely and has a very good young claimer booked at 10's.

7.30 Greyville - MASTER THIEF - Outclassed last time, but on just 4th run today and certainly more at home in this company at 10's.
 
5.45 Newcastle - DONNACHIES GIRL - Last few visits here read well at 10's.

6.00 Dundalk - JUNGLE JUNGLE - Nicely bred newcomer at 11's.

8.00 Dundalk - ANCIENT SANDS - Useful dual performer, though will need some pace to aim at here at 12's.
 
12.15 Turffontein - IT TAKES TWO - Nicely bred newcomer at 40's.

2.40 Turffontein - TOPMAST and OCEAN CITY - The former looks the more " sensible " one at 12's as for me, should be nearer 8's. OC does have plenty of speed, but may just be a " short runner " Might as well try to make all though at 40's

3.15 Turffontein - KENTUCKY BLUE - Had been on the go for a while, so recent short break has hopefully refreshed him at 14's.

3.55 Turffontein - TRUMPS TRIUMPH - Taken small steps forward so far and hopefully can improve more on 4th start today at 28's
