11.40 Turffontein - BIG SAIL - Short, but disappointing on debut, but presumably capable of better and certainly should improve at 40's.

12.55 Turffontein - CAMEL WALK - Bit to find at the weights, but comes here in good form and the early 33's looks a shade big to me.

3.30 Turffontein - DAFFIQ - Decent effort last time and this is his 3rd run back off a break, so should be at peak fitness at 12's.

4.40 Turffontein - STREET FLYER - Draw could have been kinder, but remains a useful sort at this level and Pierre Strydom a significant booking at 16's.

12.05 Greyville - MOON IN JUNE and DALLAS - MIJ showed a bit in his trial and is nicely bred on official debut at 10's. Dallas, ran nicely on sole start at 100's and whilst needing to improve, does at least possess speed at 25's.
 
1.50 Greyville - ROY'S STINGRAY - Lightly raced 4yo who is seldom far off and who has run some nice races. Steep rise in class today but has a low mass and will enjoy this trip. Jockey's only ride of the day and does appeal EW at 25's in this 8 runner event.
