11.10 Vaal - Competitive looking Maiden, but the top 2 have had plenty of chances and the 3rd and 4th Fav are on debut ( Same trainer has the FAV and one of the unraced so this confuses matters further ) Gone with one which I suspect has more ability than we have seen to date, along with a couple of lively rags -

Been with SPLAT THE CAT a lot lately, but finally confirmed his promise with a nice win. Frustratingly the other pair both out - run their odds, but could only manage 5th and 6th..

11.40 Vaal - COLONEL CARAMEL and REVEILLE - CC will be running on late and the 16's looks a bit big to me. REVEILLE finally showed some improvement last time and the application of headgear will help. Draw an issue again today, but the 66's still looks generous.
 
12.10 Vaal - CENSURIOUS - 3 of this one's 5 outings have been under a workrider, so of immediate interest with Pierre Strydom booked. Last 2 efforts not bad and whilst would need to improve, can do so under a top jockey at 25's.

2.00 Vaal - SUGOI - Arrives here in fair form and not that much to find with the FAV at 10's.

10.10 Vaal - SYX SHOOTER - Top 2 in the betting take up most of the market at 8/11 and 7/4. Can't have the FAV as its on debut and the 2nd choice may just prove vulnerable. Worst case scenario is that 3rd place is up for grabs and SS showed plenty of speed on debut and should come on for that run. Slightly surprised to see the 25's on offer and that will do for me. TORO BRAVO is the most exposed of these with 4 runs, but has been improving and really should not be 50's. Small EW therefore, plus adding for the forecast.
