10.40 Vaal - SEEMYVISION - Decent debut, but could not back that up on 2nd start. Soft ground could have been the reason for that failure and back on good ground today. Should show up for a long way today at 12's.

12.10 Vaal - GREASEPAINT - Generally solid, though you do have to forgive his last poor effort. Still fairly weighted and should go better today at 10's.

12.45 Vaal - BURUNDI BASH - Not at the best recently, but holds a chance based on penultimate run and has now come down to a mark of 56. Has a fair record this trip and should be able to lie handy in this field, so could easily out - run his price of 33's.

2.00 Vaal - BASILICA SANTO - Lightly raced and did win his maiden quite cosily. Moderate form since then, but drops in the ratings and is bred to relish this extra furlong. Has a nice turn of foot as well, so surprising to see the early 33's on offer.
 
7.30 Chelmsford - INTENSE STYLE at 28's

8.00 Chelmsford - RISING SUNSHINE at 28's

8.30 Chelmsford - DIAMOND REFLECTION at 16's

8.45 Dundalk - FILM NOIR at 66's
 
11.20 Dubanville - DOPPIO ORO - Nicely bred newcomer at 25's.

12.10 Turffontein - BRAXTON - Up in trip, down in class and course form reads well at 11's

12.45 Turffontein - KISSABLE - Takes a further drop in the ratings and gets a set of blinkers for todays' outing. Has plenty of speed and the small field should suit at 10's.

1.20 Turffontein - POOL PARTY - Soft ground and wide draw scuppered her chances last time out, but generally consistent prior to that. Only once out the frame in 6 c & d efforts and should be able to make her presence felt off mark of 83.

2.30 Turffontein - DIVINE ODYSSEY - Holds some fair form and has 2 wins from just 3 visits here. Probably needs to improve in listed handicap company, but not sure this justifies the early 25's on offer.
 
6.00 Down Royal - LANEUISH - Poor debut, but went off 12/1 that day in what was a competitive Bumper. Ought to be capable of better today at 50's.

7.15 Wolverhampton - STARLIGHT ROMANCE - Handicapper has finally given this one some respite and Connor Murtagh’s allowance a further help at 14's.

7.45 Wolverhampton - DTRIPLESEVEN - Not the most consistent, but does have form in Class 5 company, so his best efforts would give him a chance this level at 40's.

8.15 Wolverhampton - ARVENSIS - Top 3 in the betting take up most of the market and plenty of dross amongst the 13 runners. Hopefully this Morrison newcomer is not one of them at 28's.

Decent debut 3rd for DOPPIO ORO and wins for POOL PARTY at 18's and DIVINE ODYSSEY at 25's
 
10.50 Greyville - SEATTLE FROST and DIE ANTWOORD - Both have outside squeaks on breeding at 33's and 50's respectively.
 
12.35 Greyville - ABOVE ELEVEN - Not beaten far last time and both career wins have been this trip. Well drawn today in stall 2 and weighted to go close at 12'a.

1.10 Greyville - TWICE AS SMART - Should get enough pace to aim at in this field and as a filly comes out OK at the weights. For me, not that much to find at 10's.

2.25 Greyville - POWER PITCH - Does not look a strong maiden race and PP remains lightly raced and is certainly bred to do better at 33's.

3.00 Greyville - VELVET SEASON - Lightly raced sort, who has hinted at ability. Hopefully the application of blinkers will aid at 10's.

10.40 Turffontein - CATEGORY FOUR - Early 11's long gone on THE RUSSIAN SAILOR and now down to 5's. Covering win bet on this one and also adding to CF for the forecast. Getting on for CF's last chance, but still believe this one has ability and cannot ignore at 80's
 
2.10 Turffontein - LADY JACKSON - Not a lot in 2 races since her maiden win, but quickly down to a nice looking mark at 16's.
 
6.00 Newcastle - STREET POET at 40's

6.15 Dundalk - SILK CRAVAT at 10's

7.15 Dundalk - ALLTHEMOLLIES at 12's

8.45 Dundalk - LATCHET at 10's
 
3 Places and a NR last night. Those included STREET POET at a price, so the EW acca paid well, without getting a winner.

11.35 Turffontein - KAYDEN'S BULLET - Nicely bred newcomer at 25's

3.00 Turffontein - LITTLE SPARROW - Not completely sold on this one initially, but had it around the 10/1 mark, so no choice but to get involved at 20's.

3.55 Durbanville - PIPPIELANGKOUS - Nice draw, first time blinkers and does have enough speed to go close at 10's
 
4.55 Lingfield - OROBAS at 12's

5.00 Newbury - LEGENDS RYDE at 16's

5.25 Kempton - LETHAL MISSILE at 12's

6.00 Kempton - VALLACHY and MAGICAL RIDE at 16's and 18's respectively.

6.30 Kempton - EXOPTABLE at 16's
 
11.40 Greyville - AT THE OPERA - Worth another try this trip at 10's

12.15 Greyville - CORAZON - Not the strongest looking maiden and this one does have enough pieces of form to win at 10's.

1.30 Naas - THE KING OF KELLS - Sire first past the post ( subsequently relegated to 2nd ) in this race a few years back and with the same trainer, so obvious chance at 12's.

2.00 Greyville - MR ROY - Looks the only real pace in the race and therefore looks big at 22's, for one that can dictate matters.

2.15 Downpatrick - BRIGITTE'S HILL - Once raced under rules and bred to do better at 100's.

2.35 Greyville - ROY'S ROLLS ROYCE - Covering bet on CUDIARI at 4's, but not sure RRR, should be 4 times the price, so descent EW on the main pick.

3.20 Downpatrick - SOLAR HEAT - Capable sort and does pop up occasionally. Carries risks, but comfortable taking such a chance at 20's.

4.20 Exeter - DUEL DAWN - First time blinkers can hopefully do the trick at 12's.

5.20 Naas - LOUGHANLEA LASS - Nicely bred newcomer, but aiming quite high here. Price of 100's reflects this.
