10.40 Vaal - GIMME SHIMMY - Late headway on debut, but did not follow up on 2nd start. Gonna follow for a few more starts, beginning with today at 40's.

11.50 Vaal - ZIG ZAG - Weak looking maiden and do feel that ZZ is better than he has shown to date. Certainly expecting more today at 50's.

1.35 Vaal - MAROON BELLS - Back to a more suitable trip today at 14's.

2.10 Vaal - AMBERGLO STAR - Never put in the race last time, but had shown promise prior to that. Further step up in trip should be fine at 16's.
 
3.15 Lingfield - ROTHERWICK - On a career low mark and will be staying on at the finish at 10's.

4.45 Wolverhampton - JAMACHO - Did not seem to like the fibresand last time out and definitely worth a crack this trip at 25's.

6.30 Dundalk - TALKING TOUGH - Should strip a bit fitter today and decent 5lb claimer booked at 33's.

7.30 Dundalk - AMAZON WARRIOR - Half sister to a couple of useful winners and happy risking this one on debut at 33's.
 
10.45 Turffontein - ROYAL TIGER - Notebook horse, who is improving slowly at 12's.

11.20 Turffontein - ANATURA - Bit to find with the FAV, but ran well last time and the jockey's 3lb claim should help at 16's.

1.05 Turffontein - NICKY NOO - Decent career strike rate and back down in class today at 10's.
 
1.45 Lingfield - ART FOR ART'S SAKE - Half brother to six winners and the dam was nicely enough related, so happy taking a chance on this newcomer at 50's.

2.45 Fairyhouse - TWO SHOE TOM - Useful in Bumpers and hampered on hurdling debut, so can forgive that run. Certainly should do better today at 25's.

3.20 Fairyhouse - COMMANDER LADY - Showed fair improvement last time and can improve again today at 20's.

3.50 Doncaster - BELLEVARDE EXPRESS - Decent enough debut, but shad disappointing on 2nd start. Better ground today and can confirm initial promise at 10's.
 
5.30 Kempton - NECOLETA - Back to 10f today and this trip more suitable at 20's.

6.00 Kempton - NARJES - Hold up horse so will need the breaks, but 11lb below last winning mark and gonna pop up sometime, hopefully today at 20's.

6.30 Kempton - OLLIE'S DREAM - FAV sets a fair standard, but OD looks a nicely bred debutante at 16's.
 
10.45 Scottsville - HONOUR THY CAPTAIN - Changed stables after just the one start and first time blinkers quickly added, so every potential for improvement at 33's.

11.55 Scottsville - DOUBLE ESPRESSO - Third run back off a break, so should strip fit and certainly not disgraced in either of those last 2 efforts. Rating has taken a small drop as well, so certainly one of the more interesting ones at 25's

1.40 Scottsville - ASHBURY PARK - Not a lot in last 2 handicap runs, but these were both in Cape Town and this is a fair drop in class. Down a bit in the weights as well and has form on the ground, so not sure the early 11's will last.

2.45 Scottsville - MAZAVAROO - Looks a winnable maiden and this one improved for the change of stable and has scope for further progress at 20's.
 
1.00 Sedgefield - MISTER MANDURO - Too big for me in this field at 12's.

1.10 Naas - INFUSE and WILDEWOOD - Pair of newcomers at 28's and 66's respectively.
 
4.30 Wolverhampton - QUIDS IN - Question marks over a number of these, so not too concerned about backing QI back on the flat. Enough to prove as he went off the boil over hurdles, but every chance based on his last flat run at 16's.

6.00 Wolverhampton - GO ON MY COCKER - Tough race for the grade, but nicely enough bred on debut at 50's.

7.00 Wolverhampton - EXCEED LOOSE - Kept on well last time on British debut over 7f and immediately upped in trip today at 10's
 
10.45 Vaal - SPIRIT OF CARMEL - Nicely bred newcomer, who represents a good trainer at 10's.

11.55 Vaal - MERCER GIRL - Could be in better form, but potentially very nicely handicapped and the booking of Pierre Strydom certainly catches the eye at 16's.

12.30 Vaal - SILVER MASTER - Better effort last time and the form has took a subsequent boost. Handicapper has relented a touch and this course winner looks interesting at 14's.

2.55 Vaal - PICCADILLY SQUARE - Good effort last time despite a poor draw and leading chance based on that. His wins have come off higher marks, so looks a solid enough shout at 10's.
 
10.40 Vaal - HAMLIN - Not a lot to date, but top workrider booked and ought to be capable of better at 25's.

1.10 Wincanton - BALLYMILAN - Hinted at ability in both bumpers and immediately upped in trip for hurdle debut. Stable in good nick at present, so could easily go well at 50's.

2.05 Vaal - COME THE DAY - Lots of pace in the contest for a 12f race and should set up nicely for a finisher. CTD should be handy enough and hopefully can come through at the end at 12's.

2.40 Vaal - PUTIN'S PROMISE - Not badly bred and stable can get one ready at 14's.

2.55 Wincanton - JEWELINTHENAME - For me the best of the " rags " in the race at 100's.

4.30 Wincanton - THAT OLE CHESTNUT - Half brother to a couple of useful sorts and whilst may want further in time, could out-run his odds of 20's.

7.30 Chelmsford - ROCKET NAAN - Showed a bit in her sole Bumper start and makes flat debut with a tongue tie added. Looks a tough race for the grade, but just the 8 runners, so don't mind an EW at 33's.
 
3.35 Greyville - JUDD - Bred for the poly and could be a serious improver at 50's.

4.10 Greyville - YOSHIDA - One of the more exposed sorts, but chance based on the ratings at 20's.

4.30 Chepstow - CAROLE'S TEMPLAR - Quite nicely bred newcomer at 12's.

5.30 Dundalk - HYPNOTIC FORCE - Blinkers added and despite poor recent form, remains in the care of a top trainer at 25's.

6.30 Dundalk - RED BLOODEDCRUISER - Goes well fresh and chance on best form at 12's.

6.35 Greyville - AMBER FURST - Best recent effort came last time when beaten a shade over 4 lengths. Handles the poly and EW shout at 28's.

8.00 Dundalk - KEN'S SAMS - Looks nicely handicapped and has bagged a decent draw today at 10's.

11.20 Turffontein - BORDEAUX BEAUTY - Single figure price for both starts to date and debut was actually a fair effort. Failed to follow up on 2nd start, so questions to answer, but a very different price today at 25's and potentially is better than that.

11.50 Kenilworth - SPRING BREAK - One of 3 runners for the yard, but is the choice of Ryan Moore. Solid enough to date and has a good draw, so every chance at 10's.

2.30 Turffontein - BALLON D'OR - Class dropper, who is capable of decent form. Early 16's looks big to me.

3.25 Turffontein - SIR GEOFFREY - Seldom beaten out of sight, but not gotten within 6 lengths recently. Maiden win was full of promise though and now down to a rating of 64, so the handicapper certainly gives him every chance. Solid claimer booked as well, so do see this one going well at 20's
 
Ryan Moore is on Rainbow Bridge in the Sun Met (Grade 1 at 3.10pm), the country's richest conditions race. Currently trading at 9/2.
 
5.15 Kempton - SYDNEY SIREN - Stable's can improve for the run so small EW at 50's.
 
6.45 Kempton - FEARLESS WARRIOR - Stamina seemed to hold up well last time and whilst this looks tougher, fair EW shout at 10's.

7.15 Kempton - ROTHERWICK - Bit to prove overall, but capable on a going day at 16's.

8.15 Kempton - GENUINE APPROVAL - Been a while for this one, but is a 3 time AW winner and has won in this headgear combination before. Not out of it at 33's
 
11.10 Greyville - Already with WHIPPING MARMALADE in the steamers and drifters thread, but also adding MASTER OF DESTINY and EL BALLERO
 
12.55 Greyville - KING OF SAMASH - Best effort in a while last time and remains on a nice mark at 16's.

2.00 Greyville - UNCLE CHARLIE - Decent 2nd in June, but struggled a bit since. Not beaten that far last time however and that offers some hope at 16's.

2.35 Greyville - JO MAMBO - Open looking contest and JM continues to drop in the ratings at 33's.
 
1.50 Carlisle - HOLME ABBEY and TIME FOR ANOTHER - Pair of lively outsiders at 50's and 66's respectively.
 
2.35 Vaal - ROUGE ALLURE - Probably should have won more races, but goes well here and is on a nice mark.

3.10 Vaal - GHAYLOON - Been running OK and drop in trip should suit at 12's

4.50 Kempton - UPSTAGE - Fair enough on h'cap debut, in a race which was not run to suit. Ought to be capable of more at 20's

8.30 Kempton - MISS SWIFT - Not running as badly as the current 66's suggests.
 
10.55 Vaal - GIMME SHIMMY - Yet to confirm debut promise, but was at least a touch better on 3rd run. FAV is on debut and plenty of the others are exposed, so GS could easily get involved at 33's.

12.05 Vaal - EPPAGILIA - Decent efforts lately in similar fields and chance based on those runs at 10's.

12.40 Vaal - DAPHNE DU MAURIER - Promising debut, but started to hang from the 500m mark. Would have come on from the run and has a chance if running on a straight line today at 10's.

3.00 Vaal - AMBERGLO STAR - First 2 efforts came in hot looking maidens and after a no show on 3rd run, was backed into 6's last time. Fair draw to work from and do feel this one is better than she has shown to date,so happy risking the 33's.
