2.35 Southwell - QUANTUM DAWN - Interesting newcomer for a leading yard at 12's.
 
11.20 Kenilworth - VENUSTUS - On the drift, but nicely bred for debut and represents a top stable at 12's.

12.30 Kenilworth - THE SUMMONS - Slight improvement on 2nd start, but still beaten a fair way. The 2nd and 4th from that race both won next time so at least the form is solid at 33's.

1.10 Kenilworth - NAUGHTY BOY - Did not get home last time over 10f, so immediately dropped back in trip. Form of penultimate start looks solid enough, so can get involved today at 25's.

3.00 Kenilworth - STELLA'S STORY - Initial 25's went quickly into 16's and currently priced at 12's. Handicapper certainly gives her a chance and do feel the extra furlong today will suit.
 
2.47 Naas - GALAXY GIRL - Plenty of dross in this 25 runners contest and whilst GG will probably have to wait for handicap's, is bred to do better, so happy risking a small EW at 150's ( 100's taking the extra places down to 7th )

4.05 Lingfield - CONFOUNDING - Nicely enough bred on debut at 14's.

4.25 Warwick - THAT'S THE BADGER - Has doubled in price, but does look a likely type for Bumpers, so ignoring the drift and going EW at 20's

4.32 Naas - COOL PETRA - Nicely bred and represents Henry De Bromhead, so of definite interest getting weight all round at 12's.

4.45 Newbury - GRAND LORD - Really should not be 50's based on sole French start and at 9 runners, looks a decent race for an EW bet.
 
Nothing in Britain or Ireland today, but the Scottsville meeting over in South Africa has been switched to Greyville, so at least some racing there -

10.40 Greyville - MOUSEY ON OVER - Nicely enough bred and represents a strong yard, so despite those with experience having run well, happy risking this one at 18's.
 
12.25 Greyville - TWICE AS SPECIAL - Modest post maiden form, but handicapper has given her a chance at 20's.

1.00 Greyville - PETER PIPER - On a nice looking mark and big chance on best form at 12's.
 
2.40 Greyville - ELITE STATUS and TREE OF KNOWLEDGE - DOUBLE GEMINI looks the sensible one at 5's, so cover bet on that one. Other pair are rags at 33's and 80's, but ES has a place squeak and TON must be better than shown in 4 starts to date.

3.38 Turffontein - SHUKAMISA - Looks a threat getting weight all round at 16's.
 
4.13 Turffontein - QUINLAN - Upped in class, but very good effort last time and runs the straight 5f well, so must have a fair shout at 12's.

6.05 Turffontein - EMILY HOBHOUSE - Beaten a fair way last time, but this is easier today and she does hold some decent course form at 16's.
 
10.40 Vaal - LORD GRANTHAM - Debut for new trainer today and has shown some fair course form at 40's.

11.10 Vaal - PURPLE SHADOW - Quite nicely bred and jockey does well for this stable at 25's

11.40 Vaal - SLALOM QUEEN - Good chance on breeding and represents a top stable at 10's.

12.50 Vaal - ENCRYPTION - Not beaten far recently, but handicapper still relents a little bit, so leading chance at 10's.
 
4.00 Leicester - DEBDEN BANK - Stable trained this one's ( useful ) full brother and DB makes both his chase / handicap debut today. Rating based solely on hurdle form, so could be dangerous at 16's, if making a better chaser.
 
4.40 Lingfield - MIRABAI - Huge drifter, but is open to improvement at 20's.

5.30 Dundalk - TALKING TOUGH - Looks to be regressing already, so really need the application of blinkers to have a positive effect. 50's is more than fair enough for this to happen.

6.00 Dundalk - JAIME SOMMERS - Useful NH Sort and definitely more ability than 3 wins suggests. 1 from 2 on the flat though. Certainly no issues with the 2m trip at 16's.
 
11.15 Turffontein - UP EARLY - Yet to confirm debut promise and will be gone from the notebook if failing today at 20's.

12.25 Turffontein - TILBURY FORT - Narrowed it down to this one and DIVINE ODYSSEY, but DO is 7/2 and I don't get the discrepancy. TF was 5/1 in a slightly better race last time and is currently available at 14's.

2.45 Turffontein - KURT'S APPROVAL - Slight drop in class and edges down the weights, so not out of things at 25's.
 
11.00 Kenilworth - TOSTADA - 2nd Fav on debut, but did not show a lot. Ought to be capable of better and has more scope than most of these at 16's.
 
2.19 Gowran Park - MCALPINE - In fair form, but this does look tougher. Still a fair price at 12's.

4.45 Ascot - CONNIE WILDE - Only newcomer in the field, but looks nicely bred and the stable can get one ready at 20's.

6.30 Newcastle - NIBRAS AGAIN - Has gone well fresh in the past and looks potentially well handicapped at 16's

7.00 Newcastle - QUIET NIGHT - Unfancied on debut and ran accordingly. Immediately stepped up in trip and looks capable of better at 20's
 
7.00 Newcastle - Already with one, but adding BETUSHKA at 25's and TELE COED at 100's.
 
11.10 Scottsville - FRILLY SOX and WICHITA - Pair of twice raced, possible improvers at 12's and 20's respectively.

11.45 Scottsville - HIGH VOLTAGE - Running pretty well at the moment, but remains on a nice mark at 10's.

12.55 Scottsville - ANTIGONUS - Stable debut for this one, who is in fair form and who ran well here last time. Drop in trip no issue at 14's.

2.45 Scottsville - CAPRICCIO and ARMENGNAC - Good effort from the former last time when 3rd at 50's. Similar effort sees him go close today at 10's. The latter can get competitive with the headgear left off at 25's.

OUR COYS ( Multiple course winner and fair enough effort last time. Place chance at 20's )
WHITE LIGHTNING ( On long losing run, but has been pretty consistent and went off FAV last time. Very different price today at 20's )
ELLA'S WORLD ( Sole filly in the race, but is 3 from 5 at the track and back up in trip today at 40's )
