It did hold for about an hr lol.

Before I went to bed ETH was around £320 so i put a sell/stop in at 277 just to cover any collapse while In bed.
As soon as my head hit the pillow Babyface messaged me the arse was dropping out.
I ran down stairs and it had slumped to 275 then shot back up to over 290 again.
FFS how unlucky is that, my ETH had sold and then the price does a U-turn:lol

Same thing happened to babyface the other week.
I ended up panic buying back in @ 288 in the hope there wasn't another collapse during the night (well early morning). In hindsight I was very silly, I should have been satisfied with the sell/stop as it did what it was intended to do. I could have ended up losing a lot more had there been another collapse.
 
bought back ETH before @ 295 after selling for 307 then the bugger drops to near 280 lol, story of my trading lately lol.

It's making a comeback now so all not's lost, bitcoin seems to be settling between 11.5 and 12k so plenty of small buy and sells to be made.

BCH made a comeback over the last 24 hrs but now has dropped off again, tell a lie my coinbase page hadn't updated itself, so it's also making a comeback.

Eth should go over 300 again (currently 290) and BCH over 240 (currently 234)

Could go higher if BTC edges more towards 12k

Currently have 1.15 ETH up for sale @ 307 and another in the bag after dropping a bollock selling the lot last week.
 
There we go ETH making a move, It's been moving slower than usual over the last couple of days so this was to be expected.
Still way behind the norm and I expect a lot more to come but now @ 294
 
Also have stop/sell orders in @ 270 for the rest of my ETH.
When playing so close to the Bitcoin hurdle of $12k you have to tread carefully as it's renown for dumping once crossing the $12k line.
 
It's not a fail-safe as it could dump and come back in a matter of minutes but it at least covers major losses.
I'm only using 270 as a figure because I was caught @ 275 last week so now going slightly under.

With Bitcoin now at 11.6k it should drag ETH to around 310+ before any chance of a BTC 12k fall.

ETH did as it was told and went over 300 to 305 just missing my sell price (not for the first time I missed out by being too greedy)

And BCH wasn't far off the mark hitting 237 but still a disappointment as I thought it would have gone higher.

I'll settle for that as a decent forecast which we seem to be nailing more and more.

Everything at the moment is currently settled in limbo as Bitcoin rests at the centre point between $11.5 and 12k USD
Longterm EMA's are showing things should start moving upwards but as we're so close to 12k it's not worth a Punt at the moment.

currently I have 1.15 ETH up for sale @ 306
 
I'll probably go in for another ton on ETH this week at some point, I'd like to build up to at least 2 ETH, then start diversifying a little incase something else moons
 
Sold the ETH that was up for sale @ 306 and bought back @ 285
I'm gonna try and do the same again as it's been at this level for a fortnight or so now.
BTC drops to nearly 11k then makes a comeback to tackle 12k again, rinse and repeat.

As long as the 1d ema's stay well apart I'll do it for as long as I have to.

I've got 2.2 ETH now but always keep one back just in case it takes off.
I'm gonna trade the 1.2 and try and get back up to 3 ETH overall.

I did have 3 but got caught out selling 2 @ 197 before the spurt which left me behind, I won't complain though as my overall GBP portfolio is now worth more than it was then.
 
Touching £340 now and I sold one @ 319:duh
I should have know better as it was at the same time ETH went over the $400 barrier but it didn't cross my mind to check as I was following BTC.

Yeah I used it to buy the link, wasn't sure if it would work but I got mine through too.

Just bought 2 LTC at 47.50 too

Just sold my link actually and going to try to buy back in slightly lower
 
Everything now taking a hit.
BTC will do well to stay above 12k here.
 
BTC still doing really well over the last couple of months, not sure whats been happening with ETH slick do you knnow? Saw it jump 10% in a day about a week ago
 
It'll have something to do with ETH2 on the verge of coming out and something Called Defi that's all the rage at the moment, Link is a Defi coin based on ETH hence the reason it's doing so well.
Don't ask me what it does mind:lol
 
By the way ETH2 is not a separate coin, ETH will automatically convert to it.
 
Last couple of days has been like a Warzone lol.

I've removed all my stop/sells as I'm sick of them being triggered then the price shooting back up.
The long term ema's are still showing growth so I'm just going to hodl for the time being and bring the stress levels back down.
