I don't want to to put a damper on events but it's a double fixture week so does that count?
Because it makes the other 30 odd single weeks irrelevant if double weeks are going to count. imo I would split a double week into the two sets of fixtures they are.

Not having a go at you Punt as it could be anybody in your position but I'm just saying lol.
 
None of my business really as I'm not in the paid comp, but Punter did say in post 57 of this thread way back in August that the winner would probably come from a double week and I don't think anyone said anything about it at the time.
 
I ain't having a go at Punt but he obviously posted that at the weekend; knowing most of us were pissed and wouldn't read the small print.

Saying that I gave Howson a recipe for Liver and onions during the week which he was going to cook tonight so I may have poisoned the bugger.

Believe it or not, had I not been chasing a lost cause over the last set of IKTS fixtures I would have smashed the 300 barrier by at least 50 points, I'm what you call????????......... a dick!!

Funnily enough that's what Howson said the other day:lol
 
As things stand with Spurs winning 0-1, Ben Davis would hold the highest score. Any other goal means i would lead the race as me and Howson have both gone 1-2

I didn't know it was post 57 off the top of my head, obviously, I just remembered him mentioning something along those lines around the beginning of the season, so went back towards the beginning of the thread to look.
 
At top week of scoring from most of us this double fixture week and a new highest weekly score has been set. 330pts is the total to beat, set by the evergreen and handsome Kop66

We're at the half way point in the Betnod Champions League, 3 gameweeks left to go before the semi finals are decided. I'm guessing anybody placed below Slick can forget it ...

In the BPL Howson was back to his very best and has opened up a nice lead. I think he was just toying with us for a week or two there. The Old Tomcat looks a solid second and Stevestar remains in third, though he has Kop66 and Ben Davis pushing him even closer for that final prize money position. Cleggy's breaks in to the top 13.
Plenty of time for things to change, good luck to you all.

Kop66 now leads the race for the Highest Weekly Score prize with 330pts from 19 fixtures in gameweek 23.

Well done punter, i didnt even realise there was a prize for top weekly score. Some great scores this week, not enough shock results some will say ha ha.

Dont listen too slick hes tried to change the rules for the league we run at work, hes still doing crap and thats with him changing the rules to suit himself.

Is next week the last week for scores counting towards the champions league top 4?

cheers punter yeah i replied to your previous message, and the answer appeared after i hit reply.

Did i read u was concentrating on cheltenham for next week or so?, any tips ur willing to put up on here, im on don poli and beltor in a double and vautour and nichols canyon in a double. Do you back those 4 mullins horses on tuesday or take him on, annie power and un de sceaux are home and hosed for me, its the other 2 that are the doubt - sorry if this is in the wrong place.
 
Well done Punt, can't see that high score being beat from now until the end of the season unless one of us wins the million lol.
 
Cheers Slick, yes, with no double weeks left it looks a very tall order.
 
The maximum possible score in a single round of fixtures is 380 (9 correct scores x 30pts = 270, 1 correct score with a 3x banker = 90, plus 20pts for a maximum banker bonus). You could potentially get 9 results spot on and still not top Punter's score.

So I reckon you should be pretty safe, Punter. And if anyone does top your score, I'm sure they won't mind paying you what they've cost you in prize money out of their million pound bonus.
 
I can rip the £60 highest score money out of the fund now then and waste it at Cheltenham then yeah :D

I best not, just in case lol
