I Know The Score 2014/15 - Paid Entry

I'd love to be able to help you Howson but i cant, unless (like Slick has offered) you send me login details and scores.

In the worst case scenario IKTS will give you the most predicted scores or average scores, i cant remember how they work it tbh. The scores could go for you or against you.

Legend my son, owe you a pint - i tried myself at 6am and it worked for me aswell, so the dicks running it had ucked the site up for me somehow.

That 5 you mention had a 1 in front of it aswell you pissed up goon.
 
The IKTS Gameweek 25 mini-leagues have not yet been updated, but individual scores can be seen if you click on your name on the mini-league table.

I don't know what the problem is - I think it is a duff server and hopefully next season IKTS get a better one.
I forwarded Howson's complaints to them as well as alerting them to the tables not being updated.
They have a good and professional programme team so the problem must be massive. But it does put players off from playing.
Although this TalkSport IKTS site is the daddy of them all, there are others on the web, which are worth investigating.
I especially like the one that is similar to TalkSports but has the additional bonus of asking players to nominate five players who will score during the weekend - a point per goal.
Its a bit of FF and IKTS combined.

I used to play one called Top Tipper, which had a good scoring system, i havent checked the site out since finding this one 6 or 7 yrs ago, though.

Unless IKTS problems worsen though, i cant see many wanting to change.

I played this game last season with very modest results.

I emailed them on friday night with regards to the problems i was having, they state on the site that you will get a response within 48 hours - i never even got a response to my email - like you both say this shouldnt be happening to a website of this popularity, there must be at least 50,000 people playing this game.

Thanks for the table newman, u can roughly work out how the champs league table looks from your updated bpl table. Its very close between quite a few, which keeps it interesting right upto the last game, shame we have to wait a week.

The email back from them reads:

HOW TO PLAY

  • Each game week you play 2 games, Predict the Score and Predict the Scorer.
Predict The Score
  • Predict the Score requires you to predict the scores of all matches listed in the current game week.
  • Points will be awarded as follows:
Correct Result and Correct Score for both teams 5 pts
Correct Result and Correct Score for 1 of the teams 4 pts
Correct Result only 3 pts
Correct Score for 1 of the teams only 1 pt
  • Points from both games will count towards your total points tally.

Predict The Scorer
  • Predict the Scorer requires you to select 5 players that you think will score in the current game week.
  • You cannot pick the same player twice (don't even try - they will only get added to the database once and you will be left without your full complement of goalscorers)
  • Each player has a different goal value i.e. goals by strikers are generally worth less than goals by defenders.

I'm not arsed posting up tables this week, i'm sure you are all aware of you positions, so just a reminder that there is only one week left in the Betnod Champions League qualifying stage (gameweek 26). Good luck me.
 
I see Cleggy is now getting his act together or more likely he is now just pickling random results and the lucky bastard is coming good.
 
3rd in the CL, he's come from nowhere! Be some bants at work if him and Howson go through and meet.
 
I can understand Howson winning something footy related but Cleggys just a lucky cnut.

I reckon he's ditched his stats (because he does spend most of Friday @ work looking at them because he's mainly a rugby fan) gone for pot luck because he was so far behind and low and behold the lucky bastard has come up trumps.

He's called LL (lord luck) for a reason. Howson will verify that.

Your quite right Slick I can vouch for all of that - he is the luckiest man alive Im convinced of that, but now he will have to start thinking about his predictions cos theres £100 at stake - and thats where he will come unstuck I hope, cant have that ucker winning the dosh as a result of one lucky week
