I Know The Score 2016/17 - Paid Entry

Cl final this weekend too between me and my old mucka Howson.
It'll take a small miracle for me to get on the general league prize board because as usual it looks like I've become stuck on the periphery and now I'm added with the burden of not being able to take a few chance picks to get amongst the prizes in case it fcuks up my CL final lol, which means I'm also probably gifting Howson that 4th spot the stuffy cnut.
 
I reckon if he finishes 4th he should give me half, if he finishes above that I'll let him off.
I know what the tight cnut will say though.

If you end up winning the CL final and the Betnod comp your having a drugs test on Monday morning, or youve passed your log on details to somebody who knows what theyre doing, rather than you relying on X in every game ha ha ha
 
Thought i'd smashed it this week till i see everybody elses score. Fuck sake.

Is that a new high score?

I see me and Howson are also tied for the CL, what happens now?
Should imagine it can only be league position the jammy cnut, as if he's not won enough.
If he had about him he'd go halfs:wink

You took the lead some weeks ago and none of us lesser pundits could knock you off your perch.
Also well done Howson with a good last week of season score that puts you into runner up spot and thus knocking the two Gloucestershire boys down table.
Also must give praise to VoodooBluesMan on securing week's top score. He has done sweet FA all season but goes out on a winner. [Sorry, must amend that last remark. VBM did win the FGR prediction league and won a small financial prize.]
And lastly I had to smile when I read the Newsfeed column and noticed that Cleggy is already dreaming about further glory in the European Championship.

Guess which clown had the Leiceser game as a draw, and changed it at 2.30 to home win!!!, after seeing the Bournemouth teamsheet.

Split the 1st and 2nd prize between us- so thats 75 each by my reckoning, league position shouldnt come into it.

At least I had above the IKTS average score despite plunging down the TalkSport table.
Bad omens for start of next season me thinks.
Thanks everybody, especially Punt, for another year of interesting competition.
Looking forward to competing against all of you next season but I will have to try harder.

A tie in the league for 3rd so the £50 and £30 shared equally

1st Cleggy £180
2nd Howson £80
3rd Tomcat £40
3rd Bonehead £40



CL

Howson and Slick agreed to split the pot in the event of a draw. But for the record Howson won on penalties :)

1st Howson £75
1st Slick £75



Highest score in any one week

Rob M and Craig East, with 250pts in Gameweek 34, share the £50 pot.




I have Thursday afternoon off, so those with Paypal can expect their winnings this Thursday night. Those who are wanting payment by cheque (Grrr), will get them sometime next week.
 
I run a small private mini-league and every week I check its stats.
What is interesting is that I had best basic score but was third best in using my chips.
Consequently I did not retain title.
Too many players on this Betnod mini-league to check same but I think it shows how much difference a positive Bonus chip makes.

I also play on another predictor competition that does not have Bonus/Insurance chips and did good on that one.
Next season I will be opening a fun mini-league on Predictthescore.net and will invite everybody on Betnod to join.
No extra work because I use same predictions for both competitions.
