Ladies and Gentleman, it's taken until we just nudged into June but we are now officially in profit for the season. At fucking last!

Makkadong a non runner so 98pts staked and three winners backed at 8/1, 7/1 and 9/4 returning a profit of 163 pts on the day and putting us +78.5 in profit for the season.
 
I backed them all yesterday. I didn't back any today. I'm sorry. I'll stay away from now on :giveup
 
Gutted to hear that RC, sorry. I love to hear when people have made some dosh from this thread but apreciate that the shear volume of horses means that you can't back em all.

For what it's worth, I'd be surprised if be surprised if at least one of the bottom four below didnt win tomorrow so if anyone has been holding back from backing them so far and wants to dip in tomotrow, i wouldnt put them off.

Two things i meant to add - id backed coronet antepost for the oaks and if yhe price wasnt enough to put anyone off the 100/1 shot it is likely to be in the race as a pacemaker. you never know tho.
 
Just the one winner with Newt at 7/2. Bruny Island traded odds on in running (1.7) but only finished third. Loss of 7pts on the day

Let's get the silly bets out of the way first. Three tracker horses have ended up in the Derby tomorrow, two at 1pt ew at 40/1 (Glencadam Glory 5 places skybet) and I think I'll scarifice the 40/1 and take the 33/1 for 5 places as well on Crowned Eagle. 5pt win Cracksman 9/2.

Brilliant run by Edward Lewis (bad news that it has been highlighted by the RUK Team which probably means we won't get a decent price on it next time out). Only finishing 5th but showed that it's one to be with in future races.

Leicester 250 Black Bubba 20 pt win 7/2. This is no superstar and not one for the longer term but it's a consistent trier (if not a consistent achiever). Dropping slowly down the handicap but its commitment means it's only a matter of time before it's winning a race (Only unplaced in one of its last 7 races) and this is just the kind of race that could see it first past the post

Better trainer, better jockey and probably back to its best distance. As the Yanks annoyingly say "what's not to like?"

220 Yarmouth Abaad 2.5 pts ew 16/1. Has had two runs so far, held up on both of them. Pulled in the last one and didn't seem to settle but ran on well once it was let go. A typical horse for this thread in that it's a case of seeing if it has improvement on it when the penny drops. Change of trainer but I think is likely to be ridden the same way. The kind that could surprise if it gets nice cover and settles. We shall see

430 chepstow - stupid race to be having a bet in with 10 runners and prices as low as 11/10. 2/1 and, 2/1 with some bookies but a thread is a thread so 10 pts on Really Super 9/4
