I'm dropping Really Super from the tracker. Its attitude stinks. Blokes on Racing UK reckon it didn't get the trip today but it looked to me like it had every chance but just didn't want to go past the horse in front and that's worrying. I'm sure it'll win a race because it has ability but I like a battler on my side and this one isn't.

Not much luck yesterday. Non runner in the 435 and 305 (One Minute) . The mystery horse with no name in the 320 was Manatee Bay which just finished out of the places at 25/1. Heartache won at 13/2 returning 37.5 pts of the 41 staked. Loss of 3.5 pts on the day.

Previous day, thought that Endless Acres was going to do us a favor but it could only finish second. Spader let us down yet again, having finding ways to get beaten in ways that seem to be very unlucky it then decided to cut the drama short this time by falling 2 fences out when about to launch its challenge.

I'm posting this now because the price on Batten the Hatches in the 315 Redcar is shortening rapidly so I need to post up the 20pts at 7/2 while it's still that price.

As for yesterday, I'm disappointed about yesterday's poor performance but that's not what's got me punching the wall. What's got me punching the wall is a winner. I've done well so far this year in not missing winners (a think that's really, really raised my blood pressure in previous years). Rewind to last Friday and I'm standing in the stands at York races waiting for them to go off and my mate asks me what I've backed. I tell him I've backed Euchen Glen. Not only do I tell him that, I tell him that I've looked into the form of the race and I reckon it's going to be held up and creep it's way gradually to the front to take over a furlong out and win and that I'm going to put it in my tracker when I get home because it's got some visits to the winners enclosure coming up. It only beat 3 home. I forgot to put it in my tracker. BASTARD went and won yesterday at 8/1 and I happened to have been out for the evening.

I'd cry if I could remember how to:lol It's not the money that matters so much as knowing that my view was right and I missed the chance to benefit from it. Makes me sooooooo :banghead
