Above a non runner
My "modus operendi" at this time of year is to watch the younger horses and, let's face it, "guess" which ones may be a lot better than their early performances show. I'm just looking at Lady Lavina's debut last Thursday at Ripon when it ran green, had nowhere to go and was then blocked near the finish when the penny had dropped. I'm not saying it would have got anywhere near the winner or possibly not even been placed but this should be one that runs better for this experience and will go into my tracker to look at for the next few races.
