A couple of Premier League bets added.

West Ham to go down? They struggled last season and Moyes will do well to turn that around this coming season.
I think they lost a lot in moving into the Olympic stadium. It's seems less daunting than a trip to Upton Park and i'm not sure it feels like West Ham anymore.
Their sponsors go 11/2 for the drop. Just about big enough for me to have a small punt and wind my lad up.

Newcastle for a Top 10 finish.
They finished 13th last season, 10pts away from 10th place, so improvement is obviously needed but I do think places 9 and 10 are up for grabs and the 5/1 makes me believe i could well get my stake back with a bottom half finish bet, later on in the season. Matty Longstaff, signing a new contract today is a positive.

I also had a couple of quid on a top six finish at a poor 33/1 too. I'm already regretting that and should of gone to bed an hour ago.

Added small stakes on three big priced bets tonight.

It's hard to believe how little a club like Newcastle have achieved over the years.

I think they're in for a better season than what most are expecting.
Bruce is a fan as well as a manager and i think he'll be up for taking the domestic cups seriously if they can avoid being in a relegation fight.
There will still be a hatred for Mike Ashley up there and talk of him trying to find a buyer etc but amongst all the shite i think they'll have a decent season compared to recent ones.
Not finishing in the bottom half would be a good season but a hunch that they might get close to a trip to Wembley has made me take 40 & 50/1 about the domestic cups.

A lowest scoring team bet on Everton at 50/1 was too tempting also. It'll more likely be Palace, Villa, Fulham or Sheff utd but i reckon i might get a run for my two quid if they fail to improve their strike force this transfer window.

I could be way off i know, but i reckon they're used to being dragged through this shit now, the players may no longer be arsed by it. If anything i'm thinking along the lines that it might be uniting them now.

They've got decent enough locals in the squad now and that helps up there. Matty Longstaff is an interesting prospect and Andy Carroll has been putting the work in pre season. I bet he scores 12 plus league goals this season from being a bit part player.

The addition of Jeff Hendrick from Burnley is also a positive for me. Another experienced, 28yr old Midfielder that is a better signing that looks on paper. Decent player.

And who knows what Allan Saint-Maximin could do this season. Some eye catching performances last season. If he can take it up just one notch then Newcastle wont struggle for goals like they did in periods last season.

Record signing Joelinton will score more goals this season, admittedly that shouldn't be too difficult. And that's if they can find him. Apparently he's gone missing :lol:lol

Will Sheff Utd and Burnley have the same season as last? I dont think they will. Places 9 and 10 are within the geordies range. And with all said and done 5/1 looks quite big to me anyway.

Showed a good attitude, but helped by the fact that nothing was coming out the pack to challenge the front pair.

Nahki Wells was the fourth highest scorer in the Championship last season, scoring 18 goals for two different clubs. He seems to have settled in well at Bristol City and if they are to have a good season then the 28/1 (1/4 odds, 4 places) could prove value.

I've had a bit more on the Irons going down. It's as though Brady, Gold and Sullivan are aiming for the parachute payments. Many players and fans pissed off about the sale of Grady Diangana. None more so than club captain Mark Noble.

Bristol City have really been busy in the transfer market bringing in five players who know all about the Championship. I'm not sure how much Chris Martin and Chris Brunt will bring other than old heads but Steven Sessignon is a great talent. Alfie Mawson cost Fulham £20M a couple of seasons ago and Joe Williams was sought after by several championship clubs. The 6/4 (Skybet) about a top 12 finish looks very big.

Newcastle also made a couple of decent signings today in Fraser and King from Bournemouth.

You're probably thinking i've lost the plot with Wilson (and most of these other bets), but he's at a good age, knows about scoring in the Premier League (14 goals, 9 assists in the 18/19 season) and dare i say it... he's now at a big club. I think he'll love it being the main striker there.
