Steamers and drifters thread

After Crystal Palace's shit display in the FA cup to day and the absence of Zaha rumoured to be on his way to Chelsea, I reckon it's worth looking at their odds of 20/1 to be relegated. Just 8 points off the drop-zone and with 1 win out of their last 7 games, I reckon they cold be fucked without Zaha. Add to that the fact that their next two games are against Man City and Arsenal and you could be looking at locking in a free bet in a couple of weeks time
 
410 Wolves tomorrow Cotton Club opened up 33/1 and is now between 14s and 18s so will be interesting to see whether it continues to shorten or whether the oddsmakers have just got the initial price wrong
 
Woulduadamandeveit 415 tomorrow at Haydock. Backed in from 14/1 to 3/1 and still shortening .
 
6.00 Dundalk - THE BITTERN CRY - 20's and 25's on most early prices and 10's into 6's recently.
 
12.30 Scottsville - LA BASTIDE - Switch of venue to the Greyville poly, makes any market moves interesting and this one is 33's into 14's and would have a real chance on her best form. Bit of money for my original pick of BARINOIS who is into 10's from 16's.
 
4.15 Kelso - LADY VILLANELLE - Looked interesting on breeding, so took the early 22's. Been backed steadily since and now 10's.

Took 16/1 last night, In to 6/1 at present.

Backed into 5s, no doubt helped in part by the taking out of one at 2/1 but ran a very poor race. Bit of a head-scratcher that one
 
7.30 Chelmsford - ROCKET NAAN - Took the 33's this morning and that quickly became 22's. Subsequently gone 16's, 14's and is currently 12's. Possibly EW money as it is just the dead 8, but the money looks to have come consistently.

Was being well backed before the 2/1 got pulled out too. Ran a stinker, never looked like winning??
 
11.10 Greyville - WHIPPING MARMALADE - Possibly more of a price adjustment, but was 33's on the early prices and in one go went down to 16's. 4 x 0's and 1 x 8th in his form but most of these were in the Cape area and the racing is generally stronger there than in Kwa Zulu Natal.

Three and a half weeks later and they can be laid at 8/1 for a free bet.
