The Manchester City thread

Dont think hes helping his cause by saying he'll quit English football as hes persecuted. you can be the bluest of blue but hes not helping himself is he? I'm not sure theres enough evidence to convict him like but it dont look good

Btw who on earth was that awful defender you've got, gifted Spurs the Defoe goal & the late miss? He looked shocking

Savic is only young, he actually played against England in the match against Montenegro and had a blinder in the first match at Wembley, I think he'll go out on loan next year (if anybody will now take him) and hopefully come back all the better for it.

Ehhm nobody mentioning the accidental 'tap' on Parkers head from Balotelli, I came on tonight expecting the worst.

You seem to have overlooked the fact that the culprit wasn't wearing a red shirt slick. :wink

fuck the CC , couldn't care less about that

:lol Too true.

But do you still stand by your theory that having seen your club spend £1million per day, every day, for the past 2 years, Citeh fans haven't changed? :lookaround

Anyway, as far as the PL goes, a scrappy 1-0 win at Wigan followed by an injury time winner against a title 'rival' and all done with a few of your stars missing speaks volumes Keem. That's how you win it mate. I'm fucking amazed we're still in with a shout to be honest.

Tevez is a dick in what he has done tbh come on city bloody get level on agg here!

Until the next time..........

Carlos Tevez has today apologised to all concerned for his recent conduct.

The striker returned to the football club last Tuesday, following a three month absence from duties, without permission.
Carlos said, “I wish to apologise sincerely and unreservedly to everybody I have let down and to whom my actions over the last few months have caused offence. My wish is to concentrate on playing football for Manchester City Football Club.”
Carlos has also withdrawn his appeal against the Club’s finding of gross misconduct which was due to be heard by a Premier League panel in the coming days.
He has since begun a training program designed to return him to optimum fitness.

He couldn't do anything else , thankfully City are rich enough to refuse to get shot of him on the cheap , f**ked him and that Joobachian ( spl ) up big style.
Was it last week when he was on about being treat like a dog ?
The guys a first class c**t ...

The opportunity for Manchester City's supporters was too good to pass up. Their team were on their way to a 4-0 win against Porto and the opposition had a striker going by the name of Hulk who was showing signs of frustration. "You're not incredible," the home fans sang.
Hulk, real name Givanildo Vieira de Souza, certainly did not look like he had superhuman powers as Sergio Agüero inspired City to a 4-0 victory to send them into the next round of the Europa League with an aggregate 6-1 victory.
Porto, however, have not seen the funny side. The Portuguese club are now preparing an official complaint in which they will ask Uefa to open disciplinary charges against the Premier League leaders – and they are denying it has anything to do with an apparent humour bypass.
Rui Cerqueira, the club's spokesman, said the matter would be reported on the grounds that City's supporters had acted in an improper way. Hulk had also been targeted with chants of "cheat" because of the Brazilian's tendency to look for free-kicks and Porto will claim he was the victim of unsporting behaviour that warrants an official investigation.
The allegations have been met with bewilderment at the Etihad Stadium where they could be forgiven for wondering if it is tit-for-tat retaliation after what happened when the two teams met at the Estádio do Dragão last week. Uefa has opened a disciplinary case after two of City's black players, Mario Balotelli and Yaya Touré, were racially abused – just as Didier Drogba and William Gallas were when they played there for Chelsea in 2004.
Porto, however, have made it clear they are outraged by City lodging a complaint. The Porto version of events that it was actually both sets of supporters chanting in support of Hulk and "Kun" Agüero. "Kun, Kun, Kun; Hulk, Hulk, Hulk," Cerqueira said at the time, demonstrating the chants. "These can be easily confused with racist chants."
All of which was a strange explanation given that Agüero was not even on the pitch at the time. Incredible, you could say.

Are they having a fucking laugh? :lol

I read that earlier on today and thought it was us City fans who are supposed to be bitter.

It's obviously a come back at City over the reporting to uefa about the monkey chants, I hope they do report City for it and they get charged twice as much for taking the piss the miserable cnuts.
Fact is that if Hulk put the same amount of effort in trying to play football as he does trying to win a foul then he'd be twice the player he is. He makes Ronaldo look like Tommy Smith.

This thread seems to have gone awful quite after all that wind and piss we had to endure for the first few months of the season....now where did it all go wrong....
CITY ARE SHIT AND THAT'S A FACT! :lol

Busy, bit of a World tour, well not really a World tour but Thailand, Vietnam, you know what I mean.
Glance back to 23rd, 24th October and afterwards, the premiership was won and heading for Wastelands, I said I would just keep my powder dry.....cause we have seen them come and we have seen them go :D

Yes you have seen them come and go, probably from your armchair, however...

CITY ARE SHIT AND THAT'S A FACT! :lol

labelling the second best team in England like that shows just how little respect and knowledge for football most Utd fans have. How can City be shit, be a fact? If City are shit what are the other 90 clubs?

I'd say it's more of Suirthing fcuked off when City were'nt so shit:lol

Well I can't disagree as we have been shite since Christmas, United haven't been that great either tell the truth but they have hung on in there and ground out results, something we haven't been able to do.
Fergie has been the difference as he's probably the best manager there has ever been, I'm in no doubt had he been in charge of City we would have romped to the title.

Still we are still work in progress and have improved since last year albeit not winning anything this season, the experience of this campaign should serve them well for the future.

I will congratulate United though as i never expected them to turn it round, well done ya cunts.

The armchair swoops I watched them come and go from was very comfy in the South Stand when I had a season ticket, now when I travel over with my young lad, I am up in the North East Quadrant, (a good place to be if you have a kid with you as when people stand up it does not affect his view)
Re the other 90 clubs, I would be a bit worried as the top 2 could not even progress in the Thursday night league.

Slick you are very honest, maybe you are still in shock? and wondering just what the fuck happened! :D suirthing did not fuck off,(I was away fund raising actually for Rangers, ha,ha,ha) he just kept his head down like United, they kept chipping away and like always it was not so much United's form as they have had some shocking results this season, it was City that fucked up. Mancini is a bit of a clown, too much talk and the stress is getting to him, he looks 20 years older now than he did in September, Tevez and Balotelli have to go, too much upsetting the run of things, Sir Alex would have them railroaded at this stage.
I said my piece back in October on here and I was right, for fucks sake even Yorkie predicted it! :D
You said before the 6-1 is something that we would never forget, it is away in the distant, much worse has happened against lowly opposition and it gets forgotten with the glare of silver, it may get totally forgotten if City had to applaud United on to the field as Champions when they meet :) . Now something we will not forget in a hurry is how Barcelona made us look like Stockport in last years final! Barcelona has gone on and got better and United have slipped but are still top of the league! this should tell us something about the standard, and if I was Chelsea, I would be afraid, very very afraid....
