The UNBEARABLES thread in association with Punt

I missed this post Soz Punt,
I had pretty much the same thoughts as you but after watching Liverpool since taking into account the Injury's you have , I don't see anybody stopping Liverpool.
Conor Bradley is brilliant, he nullified City on his own last week down our left and I was pleased to see him subbed, it didn't stop the pain though as Liverpool threw the kitchen sink at us.

Gomez has been brilliant playing right across the backline in every position he's been asked and what a buy Szoboszlai has been.
I was never in doubt about Macallister as he was brilliant for Brighton and Argentina, same with Jota to an extent who's been just as good with added goals but thankfully was missing on Sunday.

I went into Sundays game thinking we'll never have a better chance of reeling in that goal difference but by the end I was screaming for the final whistle lol and a point relieved the pen wasn't given.

Klopps last season could well end up being his best, with the team that's developing could he maybe change his mind?

No way will he change his mind, i'd be amazed. Not going to happen

It's been great seeing some of the youngsters perform. Connor Bradley has been keeping TAA out of the team.
Bobby Clarke has made the most of every opportunity, Jayden Danns 18 signed a new, long term contract yesterday, he has 21 goals in all competitions at youth level for Liverpool’s U18 and U21 sides, like Bobby Clarke he has a footballing background. His instinct in the box has been noticeable this season.

I thought Sundays game was brilliant, the energy, the end to end stuff was brilliant. I shit myself when Doku hit the post.
It would of been harsh if they gave the penalty imo. I know it's a foul and a card anywhere else on the pitch but it wasn't worthy of a penalty.

I've no idea who will win the league, i'm just glad we dont have to play you or Arsenal again.

Should be a good game tomorrow Punt and I'd say your first real test of the season, We caught Chelsea at the right time early doors but they have improved a lot since then especially on the road.
Three points tomorrow would be a great result imo.

We're winning without being brilliant. I've seen us be brilliant just once so far this season, away at AC Milan in the CL
Arsenal away is a massive test this weekend. I can't call it.
City similar in winning without being brilliant, Slick. Not many clean sheets yet but always outscoring the opposition.

We're not playing well at all and have been more than flukey in most games this season.
Now we have a bit of an injury crisis which doesn't bode well, anything happens to Haaland and it's season over for us imo.
Bournemouth will be another grind tomorrow, Hopefully I'm proven wrong:crossfingers
