    Thanks Punt,
    I'm in.
And if I'm not in last place at the end of the competition, I will consider that a success.

    Cheers Tom,
i'll probably pass on that Telegraph one, with up to 40 substitutions between games, way to interactive for me lol.
I'm like you, prefer IKTS and i'm probably not going to bother doing a WC Fantasy Football now. Thanks though.

I take it that's your mate that's joined IKTS, Stevestar? Good luck to you both.

Thanks Punt, but it is same here regards FF, I also find it too time consuming.
You are quite right, it is my mate Steve who has taken up the challenge in this league.
Much appreciated message of good luck, I'll need it. Steve usually does slightly better than me.
And of course good luck reciprocated to all our opponents.

I had a look at the games for the first round and WOW, at the moment I don't have a clue who or where some of these country's are in the world. Going to be difficult to accurately forecast until at least stage 3 of round 1. But then that's half the fun.

Hey hey, we're starting to get a lively little mini-league with already 12 players committed to play this summer.
I'm-a going to have to brush up on my African and Asian footballers and teams.
Don't know much about them but in three weeks ..............................................................., probably even less.:unsure

Yep, it's starting to take shape. I reckon there could be about 20 of us by the time it starts.

In the opening games i think you should all banker Algeria to beat Belgium btw

A week to go and we are up to 14 players, with two Man United supporters joining.
    I love beating Man U

20 players registered - Punt you seem to have correctly predicted the number.
But you didn't actually name them:) [only joking]
With that in your back pocket, this comp should be a breeze for you.

There's at least one other joining, a lad from work. And another one if Beamer remembers.

    Hi guys,
A programmer friend of mine, connected to the IKTS game, has asked me to test run a new format game that runs alongside the traditional IKTS game. I have told him that I will ask for volunteers on this forum because by now you all know me and know I'm genuine.
Basically the game is a combination of Bruce Forsythe's 'Play Your Cards' and IKTS.
    It looks to be fun.
What my mate wants is feedback, suggestions, ideas etc.
So if you have a spare few minutes over the next five weeks, please help out .
PM me with your email address and I'll send you the appropriate playing instructions
    Thanks
    Tom
