With Stevenage beating Gills it may look like the 1-3 was a terrible bet but I was also hedging this bet and a couple of other relegation bets in league 1 plus Stevenage have some very tough games coming up.

Its now a VERY intriuging market and Im glad they won.

Similarly Salisbury losing is great for the Cambridge,Alfreton and Gateshead bets but they are still not out of it.Thats been a very unusual league this year and there could well be opportunities in the promotion market ove the next few weeks.

*As someone whos been betting Saracens all season(though in modest amounts), who lost unexpectedly last week, I was amazed to see Northants at 7-4.Saracens won at Sale last night but Northants should regain the lead today and the 7-4 should be 5-4 I would have thought.

If not then its still an ok bet.

**I have an inkling that Notts could get a point at Wolves today but I need to bet Wolves as it hedges good positions at the top and bottom.

I think that if Bees can get 4 points from Crewe and Wolves in next 2 games then that will be enough for them to hang on and take the championship but Crewe are playing well.

In my haste today I made an amateurish mistake and Ive been well and truly punished for it.

I really needed to PROPERLY hedge Annan and Clyde by betting East Stirling.

But I don't properly hedge them cos I went and put an outsider-Gateshead- in the bet.
Could have got away with it if Inverness had won or East Stirling had failed to win.Or Gateshead had won at home against a bottom half team of course but NO such luck:frown

Even worse is that I know that BetVic really fancy East Stirling so now Im sweating on the new price.

Whatever it is I now need to bet big money on East Stirling.

Oh well,at least Celtic look nailed on for the handicap.

And I can perhaps hedge Gateshead in the promotion market.

And if this thread makes a profit people wont think its luck:unsure

Oops,bet365 aren't doing a Scot Prem hcp so that part of the bet is void.Pity.

And Ive got to the bottom of the Northants price.Its clearly an error.I told them about it and as yet they havnt voided that part of my bet.
In any case I assume that one of the advantages of betting low stakes is that youre more likely to get away with such an occurrence:unsure

Ha.It seems that Gatesheads next game is a 6 pointer v the mighty Alfreton on whom I have quite a lot riding.
