I Know The Score 2015/16 - Free Entry

Cleggy was mortified because he thought he had put his banker bonus on a 2-0 Chelsea win and was bouncing about when it came in only to find out when he checked his score that it hadn't been played, he then remembered being disturbed in work while he was submitting his predictions and didn't go back to putting his bonus on lol.
He is/was a dope putting a bonus on this match. He should have preserved his bonus by just not using it.

He was told that by both me and Howson but because he has nothing to lose (his words) he just went for it.

Just out of interest, what happens to your bonus if you don't use the bonus chip one week? Does it stay at the same level, or does it drop back down to 0 again?

"If you decide not to play your Banker your bonus will be protected but you will not score your bonus for that Game Week."

TalkSport gameweek review

A very low scoring gameweek but The Malvern League took advantage of other's bad form to get our mini-league almost into the top 100.
Amongst us we had 16 players who managed a better than average score.
I'm not sure what our numbers are for using the Bonus successfully but I think that there was only one game assured of a home win and that was Arsenal/Everton (X2). I suspect more than a few players tried their luck on a X3 game and the obvious choice was a Stoke/Watford home win. Fouled up a lot of people forecasts, including mine, on Watford winning away.
Okay I only gained 10 extra Bonus points on Arsenal but I've preserved my Bonus which, in years gone by, has over the period of a few weeks given me considerable extra points.
When I first came across this site/league I was totally impressed by the high standard of predictions. I still am, so it is a personal pleasure to be top of table (even if it last only a short while). Rarely do early season pace setters manage to hold on for the entire season - Howson excluded last year.

,I was waiting to see if TalkSport published their review. As of yet NO. Disappointed YES.
So I'll give my own week's review:
The Malvern league collectively has done very well this week with 13 players scoring over 100 points meaning that our mini-league jumps 19 places up the Championship into the top 100 at 83. I think that is the best since I've been checking it out. :thumb
We now have seven players with Blue Badges while only five players have no badge at all. One of the five is unbelievably last year's runaway winner HOWSON. :thinking
The Nora Batty lookalike from the land of the summer wine and wearing an andy capp remains in top spot although his lead over the pack has been reduced by 30 points to just 60.
The Malvern League's trio of Larry, Mo & Curley, our THE THREE STOOGES sometimes better known as Reggie, Slick & Punter (it's for other's to work out who is who) have had mixed fortunes.
Reggie had the week's highest score of 175 points which is the 193rd best TalkSport score of the week. That moves him up to 2nd in table behind TomCat whose score of 115 points is down at 5,900th TalkSport best. Slick's good score of 105 pts (8,691th in TalkSport) unfortunately drops him a place behind TomCat & Reggie.
And lagging in 20th place is our beloved leader The Punter with a reasonable score of 75 points (22,741st in TalkSport).
As mentioned elsewhere, the top three players have created a decent points gap of at least 115 points over the pursuing pack.

Good stuff TomCat.

Just let it be noted that i'm deliberately sat down the table in 20th, i thought i'd let you all have a bit of a head start. This is where it stops! In the remaining months you'll witness the greatest comeback of all time, even better than the comeback from Liverpool in Champions League Final of 2005. I'll win it at the death in May. You've all been told.

I think after this weeks fixtures we might see quite a few changes in that leaderboard, I know I've said it before but this weeks could quite possibly be the worst set yet, I seem to be saying that every week lol.

This belated report shows how well the Malvern League did - 21 of our players managed an above average score.

A very low average score this week that 17 of our players managed to equal or exceed. A 27% correct Bankers Bonus probably skews the average points heavily downwards.
And despite just over half our players having an average score or above it is disappointing that the MALVERN LEAGUE has dropped 24 places and is now outside the top 100 mini-leagues.
The TomCats's high score extends his lead at top of table to 90 points.
Dean Watson's similar high score moves him up 5 places to one of the best players in the 400 points grouping. His next aim is the 100 point jump to the players in the 500 points group.
Ben Davies's catastrophic minus 70 points drops him 7 places to 11th and as a consequence the top third of the table show significant changes.
While near bottom of table, Punter's bragifisto statement of last week that his fightback starts now has to be put back at least a week with a minus 25 point score that drops him another two places.
The two other Malvern legends, Reggie and Slick remain 2nd and 3rd although Slick did get a minus score. His lead on the chasing pack is enough to allow him an occasional hiccup.
And last year's runaway winner Mr Howson drops down a spot despite his average score.
Mick Sorahan is this week's biggest mover to 5th from 12th with a good score of 70 points.

FGR now NOT top of League after a seven points lead only a few weeks ago.
Will the same happen to their supporter TomCat?
Thank goodness there is a break this weekend at same time I am in Poland.
