I actually started to feel positive about winning the league after the Spurs game Yorkie but let's not go OTT. This is the worst United side I've seen in the last 20 years and IF we win the league, it's because Citeh haven't been able to handle the pressure and the rest of the PL are proper shite, not because we deserve it.

Our decline (and the fact we're top of the PL, the PL's decline) is illustrated by our performances in Europe this season. Completely outplayed and completely outclassed and not just in one game, but most of them and we haven't played anyone decent yet!

Still a long way to go in the PL yet mate. And just to remind you how inconsistent we are;

Bad day at the office today but there's still 10 games left and a lot to play for, Todays result means City can ill afford any more slip ups and Arsenal away game now looks the key game in the run in as we need to be within 3 points going into the derby.
It's getting hot up at the top though and Mancini needs to revise his away tactics as we've been shocking on the road since Christmas, we just don't seem to get out of first gear until we go a goal behind.

Totally agree. United have bolkes playing, particularly at the back, who would have struggled to be squad players in a previous team. Letting O'Shea & Brown go when Evans is a regular is shocking. Man for man, Citys by a street. Manager to manager, a mismatch, Nora Batty should be up there with Citys team, Mancini's a clown, said it all along
 
Wayne i agree this is the worst United team in years by far, Hopefully we will get other having shit results in the league now for the rest of the season. The sooner where out of Europa League the better if we beat City away then that should be the end of the title race still a long way to go but im confident we will win by at least 3 points.
 
after looking at the fixture list for both United and city i would say by far United have got the easier run-in, and if u discount the derby for now, both teams can win all their 9 other fixtures. whether that will happen or not is a different story, as we all know, its not that simple and i can see both teams drawing/losing at least one more match..
as for the derby, its definately citys to lose, being at home, they will be favourites. but suspensions/injuries could still play a massive part in the run in.
Its massively open, and any little fuck up can lose u the leaguer now and any little moment of genius (supplied by Rooney) can win their team the Premiership!

Haha what a nob. It reminds me of the season when the Geordies thought they had won it in November, but then United swooped to win the league. It's like déjà vu!!! I'm sure we will see a few more tears from the bluenoses before we retain our title! :cry

He can't have been a City fan for long if he's wailing over a defeat to Swansea, I wouldn't mind but there was about 10 mins left including ET.
 
Although sitting at the top of the league at the moment, there's still a chance that United will end the season winning fuck all and their pre-season target of "closing the gap on Barcelona" is now looking nothing short of laughable.

Embarrassing failure in the champions league and now outplayed and outclassed by a team who 23 places (no that's not a typo) below Barca in the Spanish league in both games of the two-legged tie, even the most short-sighted United fan (Yes, that's you Yorkie) must fear that next season will be another one of failure. I find myself feeling sorry for the old man but, in all fairness, while Arsen Wenger has been slated up hill and down dale for not strengthening his team where everyone but him knows it needs strengthening, nobody but SAF can be blamed for the fact that they currently have possibly the worst defence that they've had in the last ten years.

Don't bother quoting me their stats for goals conceded in the Premiership campaign. They are the keystone cops on acid and they aren't going to go on to win the premiership this season, no matter what you may think
