Quench Dolly 2nd to return 10 pts. Murad Khan won at 8/1 returning 116 pts and unlucky with Sandy Cove finishing just out of the places at 20/1. 65 points profit on the day (276.6 over the six days)

230 Pontefract, I have two tracker horses in a four horse race so I won't be putting any actual money on them but, for the sake of this tread I'll use 10 pt on Unfortunately at 2/1 and 5 on Zaman at 9/4

900 Windsor Ross Raith Rover 5pt ew 16/1 (though only with paddy power so if you're going to back it I'd do so ASAP).

Re: BRUNY ISLAND - I've backed this one the last twice, both times he's come there looking all over the winner but then weakened inside the closing stages, probably due to him being very keen throughout the race (first time he went 1.11 in-running, next time 1.7).

He needs a decent pace to run at and probably also covering up early doors, he's drawn 4 today so should be able to be buried away on the inside, not sure of the pace though. The drop back to 6f should help. He's definitely handicapped to win and will piss in if his cards fall right, but he's also the type to be a regular unlucky loser.

I'll be backing him pre-race and definitely putting in some in-running lays, right down to 1.01.

BRUNY ISLAND 3rd beaten about half a length. Heavily backed from 3/1 in to 13/8fav.

They didn't go quickly enough for him, he was keen again, then had to wait for a gap before staying on well. However, he seemed to dog it in the closing stages (again) and looks desperately in need of having headgear put back on. Wasn't given the best of rides, the winner came from a similar position and draw, but was ridden more positively / intelligently, and that made the difference. Touched 2.02 in-running.
 
Toriano a non runner. Going to need Ross Raith Rover to place in 900 race to clinch a full week of profitable days. Paddy's are one of the six firms paying four places in the race despite only 14 runners so fingers crossed:crossfingers

Cheers Keggers but I appear to have miscalculated:embarassed. I originally chose a hypothetical 10pts each on the two horses on the 230 race but changed my mind before I pressed post. That would have given me a profit on the day but I've actually made a loss of 3.75pts on the day.
