X FACTOR Betting

I've had a play on The Risk bottom two and The Risk eliminated. To me, if they were in the bottom two, what reason is there for keeping them?

Are you kidding me thought Risk were favs to win

Well the way the judges were ramping them up a few weeks ago, you'd have thought they were plan A.

This week, they have a new member and get the graveyard slot, so things have changed in the eyes of the producers.

Big movements on Frankie for elimination now

Noticeable shift in the market. Always makes me wonder just how limited this knowledge is. The Risk have lengthened. Sophie and Frankie have gone mental.

This is almost assuredly the Kelly Rowland effect in play with Sophie vs. Misha as the bottom two (1/18 and 8/1 at Bet365).

Digital Spy suggests Kelly has 48 hours to decide if she wants to be back or she's gone and will be replaced.

EDIT: Kelly Rowland sounds not too bad for someone who has a throat infection as she votes to get rid of Sophie over the telephone. It would have been a clean 4-0 sweep to have got rid of Sophie.

Well I guess as a group we got Sophie right. I still give up though. That's it. In the words of Mickey, X-Factor is dead to me, I have no X-Factor. :adolph

Just watching xtra factor and they had Kelly on again talking well but then threw in a few coughs, said she is deffo back next week and Gary said he will bring her back personally

Amongst all the chaos, atleast the producers show they can still fashion an exit as and when they want to. Sophie didn't do herself many favours this series, but was very poorly treated. I'd miss it as a betting Market but the sooner the show dies the better.

Good night for marcus, but key now is whether he gets a better slot than Craig next week.

Mischa was a shock, but i think it confirms that voting numbers are extremely low. Doubt you could fit a fag paper between 4 or 5 of them.

well... surprise... and no surprise!
been out at a halloween party with the little 'un, so missed the results show.

got to agree with beanie that there doesn't seem to be much between any of the remaining acts. the producers can probably pick and choose who they want to stay and go at will by running order and other tricks to depress the vote.

i don't think they were expecting misha b to be in the sing off though!i think they may be regretting the character assassination she was given the previous week.

maybe i misread the risk... maybe by putting them on first it was a case that the producers knew they had enough support to survive the position in the running order.

it's going to be hard but it may be a case of deciding who producers want to progress further in each category. three categories are down to 2 now so maybe it will be the turn of a boy next week:

frankie vs craig vs marcus - i can't pick one to go. craig has been pimped heavily twice with good running orders and judges comments, producers have done everything they can to keep frankie out of the bottom 2 the last couple of weeks, and marcus has been heavily praised the last 2 weeks?

Risk will be there in the final i would put my flat and everything i own on that no doubt about it anyone thinking otherwise shouldnt be betting on x factor. Also think that Marcus will go far as well top 4 at least, they need to get rid of the muppets in it though starting to piss me off, there actually isnt much talent in there this year apart from The Risk i would say Marcus and Mischa fuck it there the top 3 this year

Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Today's Bettingzone Market News:

1210: After Saturday's performance Craig Colton is the big mover in the X Factor winner market. He is now a general 9/2 third favourite.

Janet Devlin is hanging on to favouritism but has drifted from 2/1 out to 11/4 after the weekend.

Misha B was a surprise inclusion in the bottom two and consequently her odds have drifted from 5/1 out to 15/2.

Frankie Cocozza remains favourite for the X Factor Next elimination market. at 11/10 despite not being in the bottom two.

William Hill have reported money for judge Kelly Rowland to miss another week, moving from 8/1 into 6/4 after she was replaced by Alexandra Burke on the panel because of illness. Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly said: “Kelly sounded like she was at death’s door the other night when she was speaking on the phone and she may well be advised to stay away for another week.”

If she sounded like she was at deaths door then i must sound dead when ive woke up after a night out on the tequila

She reminds me of Young Mr. Grace..and the act I'm sending home tonight..is Kelly Rowland.

i've put an early 0.2 pts @21.0 on craig colton to be eliminated. it's a long shot but it's almost like a club classics theme has been thrown in there just to set him up in particular for a disaster. just can't wait to see his fat booty on the dance floor... not!

watch out for a 2 or 3 running order and luke warm judges comments about him being outside his comfort zone.

I've backed:

Craig @ 18/1 sportingbet
Marcus @ 16/1 stanjames
Janet £10 @ 11/4 and £10 free bet @ 11/4 skybet

Done the bet on Janet just there now because she seems the most likely compared to the others i have not backed already. I thought Marcus was doing ok but was shocked to see how much he dropped in odds.

Mischa doesn't seem to have the popularity to win even though she has the most talent. Groups do not win the X factor so that rules out the Risk and Little Mix. Kitty also won't have the popularity to win and Johnny although will last a few weeks i can't see winning.

The code for a £10 free bet on Skybet is BET. You just have to deposit £5.

double elimination this weekend.

just put a 2pt bet on littlemix to be top group @4.0. seems a bit long for what is essetially 2 horse race. yes i know girl bands have never beaten the boy bands. :angryit's just that i hate the fuckin risk.

Two gone this week!? Aye, so it is. Today's Bettingzone Market News:

1145: Simon Cowell has waded into the X Factor debate once more and has informed the contestants, who in his words are lacking "quality and dedication", that he will be eliminating two acts this week.

William Hill make Frankie Cocozza and Kitty Brucknell odds-on at 4/7 and 8/13 to be the two acts to get the boot this weekend and a combined price of 6/4 that they go.

Misha B and Little Mix will also be nervously awaiting their fate, offered at 9/4 and 10/3 to suffer elimination.
"Simon is not happy with this year's brood and the Cocky Cocozza may live to regret his late nights out earlier this week," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.

Janet Devlin remains the show's 11/4 favourite ahead of The Risk, who are 5/1 with betfred.

Craig Colton has been well supported this week and he's a general 5/1 chance, with Marcus Collins also popular at a widely available 13/2.

Misha B was a surprise member of the bottom two last Sunday and she's right out to 15/2, having been as short as 4/1 this time last week.

=================

Frankie's been painted as a midnight boozer and a breaker of hearts (specifically Amelia Lily's) and Kitty's been 'racist' towards someone from The Risk apparently. It looks a 'no-brainer' that they're both going but the producers may keep one or both in at least one more week just to prolong the inevitable before we get to the 'serious' competition.

yes, i think at least one of those will stay.

i don't think there's much between any of them in the vote tbh. therefore with a bottom 3 to aim for watch for the producers going all out to eliminate someone perceived as being quite strong. song choice, running order and comments will be crucial this week as they try to depress the vote of those not favoured. suggest strongly no bets until after the show.
